Walt Whitman self published Leaves of Grass and carried it around with him, foisting it upon whomever he met. I picture him reading it at the bedsides of his soldier patients or giving copies to strangers on a New York street.

I am in the last week of this Kickstarter to publish my novel Clear and Sane. I am so grateful for the people who have joined up and can’t wait to present them with the book.
This was a turn of an emotional corner for me, being public with my writing and planning for success.
And we have been successful in this fundraiser. I have the money to publish the book and do a little campaign to raise awareness about it.
Around the corner is THAT NEXT fearsome new world: marketing. I am going to turn myself into a solo marketing department for myself. There is a heritage to this. I connect with Uncle Walt. Every new kick from you all inflict gives me that much more resource to get the book into people’s hands.
If I can get to $6,700 I can fund not only higher quality printing but also a book release party! You will be invited and adored at this event!
I believe in this book. I believe more people will be glad to read about Mary, Reginald, Cherry, and Cardio. I am doing the work to make that possible for them.

As always, thank you for the time. We all get too much to read. If you don’t want any more messages from me about this topic, let me know.
