Thanks for that. I have a few years on you but are basically in the same place you are, career wise (but thanks to Tommy Douglas not health insurance wise). I had a surprise end-of-career job offer from Vancouver that led to me unexpectedly getting to live in a city I had always dreamed of living in and which I had written off as a missed opportunity that, at my age, had passed me by.
The job didn’t last (I could write a book with all my anecdotes of how dysfunctional the place was, easily the most dysfunctional of any place I have worked), and here I am. I am in need of a little extra income and my current effort is to try and do something with my radio and electronics skills.
